The ATV evolved from an inspired union of the compactness of a motorcycle and the off road capabilities and stability of a Jeep.

Today millions of enthusiasts share a love for the outdoors riding countless trails for fun, work, and service. Our lives are so much better for the ATVs that we ride year-round and around the world.

Unfortunately our thumbs were evolved to grip tools instead of a throttle lever. This leads to sore thumbs after long rides which detracts from the beauty of the day. That's where the DXTrigger comes in, blending the two principles of ergonomics with choice to give you a ride where you can use your OE thumb throttle, the finger throttle added with the DXTrigger, or you can use both your thumb and your fingers.

Go to Atv Throttle - Atv Finger Throttle Dxtrigger today and witness the next step in our sport's evolution. A better ride awaits.

Looks interesting,do you have any videos of racers using it on the track or is it more for trailriding?

I'm afraid we don't have any videos of racing with the DXTrigger. Yet.

Last year a 3-man racing team in Europe used the DXTrigger in a 3-day event and loved it.

A couple of articles for your reading pleasure:
Dirt Wheels Magazine | DXTrigger ? Our test of the throttle lever
ATV 4-Wheel Action | PRODUCT TEST: DXTrigger Evolve Honda Throttle Lever

These magazines bought the DXTrigger on their own, installed it, used it, and gave rave reviews.

When you're ready to install your DXTrigger, please send us your review with any pictures and/or videos. In fact, we will be holding a contest for the best user video of real life action with a $300 prize. Watch for details on www.trx450r.org and Atv Throttle - Atv Finger Throttle Dxtrigger.

Looks promising, the only thing I would change is to make it out of metal. There is no way it would handle the abuse of most riders. One fall and it would likely crack to bits. The one article even noted you shouldnt over tighten the screws as it could distort the plastic.

Im in if you could perhaps make it from metal, even if it was more expensive slightly.

CJM,

You bring up an interesting point. We actually started out with an aluminum body design, but it was too rigid to work with the OE throttle. The glass filled nylon (the same used in modern handguns) provides the durability needed and is essentially self-lubricating. In the unfortunate event that someone does, for example, wreck their ATV and their DXTrigger is damaged, the DXTrigger is covered by a lifetime warranty. The DXTrigger also comes with a satisfaction guarantee. So you can order your DXTrigger today in confidence.

p.s. The note to not over-tighten the screws to avoid distorting the material is as much as anything to help the rider avoid damage to their OE throttle housing (e.g. stripping out the threads). There are some mighty strong guys out there that need a reminder to be mindful of their strength.
