Im pretty sure, the kick start kit, is just that..... a kick start kit. And im pretty sure it dosnt include the needed parts to fix the s hitty starter problem. hope this helps.
A properly set up bike will not require you to ever give it gas while starting, so it shouldn't be an issue.so you cant give it gas even with a kickstarter?[/b]

What is a "r model" cam?i got mine for about 420.0 to the door.i kept the starter for awhile and then gutted it and all the er gears out, lost 10lbs. and went with a r model cam and it starts so easy.and as stated before if you set up right you should never have to give it gas on start up[/b]
Johnny dosen't have his site updated yet, but give him a call he sells it for 395.00they don't really come in kits ,it's more like you buy all the parts,i got mine from a company on anothe R site.the R model cam has a slightly different decompression timing for easier kick starting.some people may want to argue this but i ran both style sparks cams with electric and kickstart installed and when kicking the kickstart or R cam is smoother and easier.[/b]
it's pretty easy to put in.i just used microfish online to figure out how it all went togather took about 45mins.how hard is it to put the kicker in and what do u have to do to put it in. how much u think it will cost if i got someone to do it[/b]
ye you can remove the battery and the starter, you just have to get the capactor off the kick start model to rplace were the battery went (get the 04-05 model it's 100dollars cheaper for the same part).and you need the 30mm plugs for were the starter goesIm also interested in this can you remove the battery and starter after the kicker conversion?? also what about the hott start?? or do you just rely on choking it when cold??[/b]
