mine gets changed enough when I work on my engine...

but if you need to change it... there are two ways...

there is a drain bolt located on the water pump housing...you can identify it by the brass washer..... you must remove your radiator cap in order for all the coolant to flow out.....

or...just remove the lower rad house...and it will come out much quicker..... its up to you.....

I personally dont believe the coolant ever needs changing....not in the lifespan of most of these machines..... but certainly no more often than annually......

maintenance schedule should start off as follows...

#1...air filter.... at the end of each riding day preferably...... weekend at most...

#2... then comes engine oil..... depends on how often you ride and how hard.... 20+ riding hours for me....at least

#3.... oil Filter....about every other oil change....

#4.... tranny fluid..... about same as oil filter change intervals....

#5.... coolant..... if your really bored... now you can change your coolant...lol but like I said... mine gets changed plenty just by my routine maintenance....... so I never have a 'planned' engine coolant exchange....

jmho.....
