Is it worth worth buying over hmf? I have always used hmf and like it however i just started raceing and noticed every 450 i seen was runing empire. I was the only hmf and i seen one dasa and one sparks. That was out of about 30 to 40 racers. Also i have a 07 er it would be going on if that makes a difference

I've never heard of Empire Industries for exhaust. Is it a regional thing? Where are you located?

I just looked at their website and they keep claiming "We have the Best Horsepower producing Exhaust on the market!" yet I can't find any Dyno sheets or flow sheets to back it up.

There's a reason that DASA and Sparks have been around a while. It's because they work. I remember when the Rossier was the BEST pipe on the market. He was local to the Wisconsin circuit but had a few pros running his pipes. We actually stood them up on a dyno next to a few other pipes and they worked great but I think he stayed pretty regional to the midwest.

I'm not saying the Empire pipes are junk, I'd just like to see some proof other than "Everyone else is running them".

HMF I would say is on the high-end of the low end exhausts LOL. Basically it’s a mid range exhaust. There is nothing wrong with them and if I found a good deal on a nice HMF system I would run it. You have to ask yourself personally is spending $500 on a new exhaust system to maybe gain 1 hp worth it to you? To me that money would be better spent on suspension or lightening your machine up or engine work that would gain you much more power than a new exhaust. So is there better exhaust than your HMF? Yes. Will you gain enough power to justify $500 on a new exhaust, I would say probably not. And personally I would be glad to have a different exhaust than everyone else, they are just blindly copying each other, it’s fun to be different.

Empire has been around for a few years. Some say it is a Dasa knockoff. Their more expensive then most too. Hoser nailed it. Use that money for better gains.

This thread is 5 years old, ive made the same mistake more than once lol. See the dates on the top left of each post? To answer your question i would say empire is a better exhaust, they’re the ones who bought out rossier. Which was top notch. Hmf is average but good. from what ive read empire’s quality is as good as rossier’s and may even exceed rossier’s.
