a few of my buddies did that a year or so ago. they just took a normal cover cut it and put velcro on the edges and put it over the hole in the air box lid. Now they actually sell the kit with velcro and such. That was the first time i've seen one clamped on.

how much better is this compared to the k&n power lid xstream lid, would it be good to have a k&n lid plus the outer wear filter on top, and then your filter on the insde?

I've seen these before and I definately want one. I will be buying one very soon because I like to run lidless but don't like how dirty my filter gets.

I'm in for one too, as long as we can purchase replacement outerwears that fit if the original tears or wears out. I kknow after 1 yr of heavy use, my friends outerwear on his filter needs replacing.

the kit retails for 70 and utilizes your stock airbox lid. with the complete you get everything and it retails for 90. the prices will be alot bettter than these prices though.
