Edelbrock carbs good or bad?

Does anyone run edelbrock carbs? They advertise good things about them, but it'd be nice to see some real dyno charts before and after results. Anybody have any info???[/b]

for your build you will not do any better than boring your stock carb.

Boring an fcr is the way to go. I've heard the edelbrocks are nice carbs, just a biznigle to get dialed in.

I run 1 on the 416 and it gives a great boost in power, but it always seems to stick a little. Jetting wasnt bad for me. I sent it to edlebrock to have it bored and sent them a list of motor specs and they set it all up for.

How much difference does boring the stock carb make? I was thinking about that but its pretty pricey if you don't gain much. Anyone with dyno charts??? Also thinking about a turbo build.

bore your carb to a 43mm and be done with it! you will be so happy you did. Or buy the edlbrock and sell me you stocker.

dude I had one on my 05 and it sucked anus ..........finally I said f' it and bought a sparks fcr and it is worth every penny

Ya, I'll take that crappy FCR off your hands.

I have an 05 with a 40mm FCR, dyna ign, 06 HRC cam, K&N filter with a pulsecharger exhaust, my friend has an 04 with the Edelbrock carb, big gun rev box, 06 HRC cam, velocity filter and a Yoshi exhaust and they run side by side in a drag race, who ever gets the best start wins the race, there is nothing wrong with the Edelbrock carb that I can see

my buddy loaned me his for a weekend and so i tried it and i will tell you i will never touch one again they run like crap and don't make power at all , i would rather run a stock 05 carb than one of those things , jmo
