youll need an 06 link

so if i get an 06 link then it will bolt up right into my quad? will it seem softer because of the longer swingarm on the 06's?

it might but dont know how much. play with the adjustments.

just asking that because its valved a bit too hard for my weight, im 150lbs, is that to much of a difference or will it be a big improvement over stock?

It says whole set up so should include the linkage? If it is an 04-05 shock then the measurement is different than an 06 and just switching the link won't perform properly.

does anyoe have a definate answer if this will work on my 06? i'm very interested if it will

Will only be right if you use a 04-5 swingarm, linkage, and shock. I bought one off a 04-5 to convert to my 06 but had to change shaft and body.

Yes and vise versa, the 04 swinger is about 3/4" shorter though. Either can be made to perform great with the right setup and adjustment.

It will work as I have this set up on my 06...you have to use the 04 05 dogbone along with the the link and it works great.....my set up is a 1.25 longer 05 JD swinger with the 05 GT thunder link and 05 dog bone and podium X shock all bolted up nice and works great.

This set up will work on a 06.... with this swing arm.. i have a 06 it came off of.. if you buy it will come with the whole linkage and swing arm and shock....... this swing arm is 3/4 inch shorter than a 06. wich will corner better.. but if you were to blot this shock up to your 06 swing arm and link it will lower the bike about 2 inches.. so i would place this whole rear end on your bike.... im selling the whole rear end for less than just the shock runs........

actualyl i had the same shock and it has no rebound but it does have compression adjust

the compression adjuster knobs on these shocks are on the ressy, the rebound adjusters are below the shock spring on the shock shaft

its been a long day i ment rebound... no rebound
