Here's a 501 yfz i did,i also did the oil mod that turned out really well

i tapered the hole down so the oil can have a good squirt.......

heres some pic of the process

Is there a reason you went with the "oil mod" instead of the oil squirter and pump from the newer bikes? I guess it is cheaper, is that the reason?

yes it was cheaper and i read where someone had some trouble with the oil squirter hitting the piston or something like that.

Buck do you work at a shop or something? I'm wondering how you have access to all these bikes.

i working out of my father auto shop....there's two sides

cars for one and dirtbikes and atv's on the other

i've been doing this for about 5 years now........2strokes mostly up until 2005 then the 4strokes started rolling in

i have to perform oil mod, can you give me drill sizes, in side filter hsg, in crankcase to match up to side cover, also what size hole for squirter and did you work out angle towards piston
