Has anyone heard of the counter balance or the bearings on the counter balance making noise when going bad? I have a 07 trx that is making noise after a lot of parts have been checked and replaced.
I was told by baldwin that this could be the noise, taping, clacking i'm hearing from the bottom end?
Any imput on this please?

I have had to replace mine, actually just replaced the bearing again. They are not hard to do, just need a tool to take the nut loose on the balancer loose. The bearing I have had go out more often is the water pump bearing, put about 4 of them in.

Thanks!
Before you replaced it was yours very noisy.
Yea, it was somewhat noisy. I think I actually found it when I was messing with my clutch looking for a noise. That is another thing I have seen on a few bikes. The bearing that is on the input shaft under the clutch basket can get worn and will let the clutch basket wear on the outer cover. You can look at this when you have the side cover off.
Thanks I will be changing the bearings next week some time when i get them. I will let you know what I find out,
thanks again.
