Children of Liberals still have a Chance to be saved!

I was talking to a friend of mine's little girl, and she said she wanted to be President some day.

Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, 'If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?'

She replied, 'I'd give houses to all the homeless people.'

'Wow...what a worthy goal.' I told her, 'You don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow, pull weeds, and rake my yard, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward a new house.'

She thought that over for a few seconds while her Mom glared at me, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, 'Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?'

And I said, 'Welcome to the Republican Party.'

Her folks still aren't talking to me.

That's great... My kids are going to be Republicans as well... My step-son will be hard core, kind of like Rush... don't know why just it turned out that way, I never talk politics to my kids... Maybe it's his father's dad who is the influence? He's pretty conservative... and his father is about a walfare case with his hand out... Must skip a generation.

hahah funny...

my beef is not with the Republicans but just some of my so called republican friends.

Most of them work construction and get layed off in the winter. Instead of finding real work they go goose/duck/deer hunting, and look for small cash jobs. All the while they draw un-employment and brag about it.

But when it comes time to talk politics, its hooorah and go bush and lets kill some sand %$#^ and I love my guns.

The bastads need to quit milking the system.

Ya i got some friends that are just like that one came to me last week and asked me if he could help me, i asked and he said he was drawing unemployment i said well when you aint come over and i am sure i could put you to work made him mad but o well i have to pay that crap in and i aint going to help them scam what i have to pay for just like his other employer

Those guys aren't real Republicans... or they're just big @$$ hypocrites... Either way that crap pisses me off... I've never once claimed unemployment or any sort of welfare... The system is scamable... but just cuz you can doesn't mean you should.

So do you have someone mowing your lawn? lol

There is a balance & if either party was perfect I would belong to it.

Unfortunately there seems to be a battle between, many trying to get something for free against some trying to many for free!!!

The Democrat party didn't start because there use to be a bunch of people wanting hand outs. It use to be for little guy so he had a fighting chance!!

It use to be a time of putting out a helping hand when someone was down, not people looking for a hand out. The Party was started with good cause looking out for those who worked hard when most people made a living from producing something weather in a factory or on a farm. In certain cases or an emergency helping out those who needed it & protecting workers from huge companies taking advantage of them. Also the reason Unions were started, If everyone was fair there never would be Unions.

I had a conversation with a business owner a several years back. It came up about Craftsman moving all there battery power tool manufacturing to Mexico & Rigid using the old factory to make power tools. He said well Crafteman had to move there cause labor cost too much. Then I asked him well if companies keep moving all them jobs out of country & those people don't have a Job who is going to buy tools?
