cam finally in
So saturday night i got off of work at 11 and went right to work on putting the cam into my quad with my buddys. by 3 we were done. I was wicked tired and we were going riding bright in early. I got 4 hours of sleep, and we did 96 miles of trail riding. At first i was a little disapointed with the stage 2 cam. But as I got riding it and found out where the power kicks in i love it! I also put my lid on, it pops a lot on decel, but i am assuming that is because of my air fuel screw? It dosent stumble, it seems to run pretty good as far a jetting besides the poping on decel.
Ohh yeah, did a little dragging and trx pulled ahead on a modded kfx450. He got me off the line but then i jsut started to real him in. He has a crower intake cam esr exhaust Intake and power commander.

popping on decel is usually a little lean.
so go up one on the main jet you say?
The only reason i would need a piliot is if i ran out of adjustment on my a/f screw I though? My neelde is on the 4th clip so i think that shpuld be good right?

Try a 42 pilot jet to start you might want a leak jet also if you experience any hesitation on hard stabs of the throttle.what ever teh stock piliot is and a dyno jet needle 4th clipWhat pilot do you have in it now and what needle?The only reason i would need a piliot is if i ran out of adjustment on my a/f screw I though? why not?No pilot or needle adj will take care of the pop.[/b]

after i done my cam i had to put the hrc needle in to take care of that problem....

Where did you feel the power was lurking with the hc2?

I just ran mine up and down the street thru 5th gear felt good, couldnt really tell much but i sorta felt the diff, My jetting still seems perfect. Cant wait to really open her up!
yeah, i rode mine up the road at 3 am just to make sure it rum for the next day, i couldnt tell to much.
