heres some info from the girl

YAMAHA 700 RAPTOR YEAR 2006 is in GREAT CONDITION, a must see!

LOOKING TO SELL FAST, my loss is your gain!!
PURCHASED THIS BIKE IN 2006 BRAND NEW OUT OF STATE.
YAMAHA 700 was fully Serviced & inspected at DEL AMO MOTORSPORTS June 2008!
I'M UNABLE TO REGISTER THE BIKE IN CALIFORNIA (PURCHASED OUT OF STATE)
BUT USED IT SINCE 2006 AND HAVE NEVER HAD PROBLEMS.
NO Title or Stickers, since purchase was out of state!
SERIOUS INDIVIDUALS ONLY!

Unless they didn't want to pay the sales tax. Sales tax wouldn't be charged on something like this if its purchased out of state. If you buy otta state you pay the sales tax in your home state. If you don't pay the sales tax, then you can't register it. It does sound alittle funny though.

Definatly run the vin. And where is it listed at? Kinda strange is someone was stupid enough to list a stolen bike in the for sale ads or something.
