Your valves have alot to do with your oil. If your valves are not opening or closing all the way then you loose compression. this causes excess oil to be burned through the exhaust...However you said it does not smoke. If valves where the problem it would be smoking out the exhaust. If the problem was rings, it would smoke. I really dont think you have a problem, mine dont burn oil but I dont keep as accurate of a reading as you do.....Do you see on the oil window the little min, and max lines....those are there for a reason....when you fill it up to the max mark, you dont have to add oil unless its below the min level.....there is alot of room for error....Honda also designs thier high performance engines this way...Here is why. Its a high RPM engine, IF it burns a little oil at high RPM's, then your engine is safe.....My Prelude redlines at 8100 RPM's...and they designed it to burn a littl e oil too if you are running at 7 ot 8000 rpm's all the time then you burn oil...If you just drive around normally, It does not burn oil....Part of Honda reliabilaty.....so DONT WORRY ABOUT IT, and keep oil in it...If it starts running like poop, or smoking...then worry about it......Hope this helps.
