what tools are used to bore a carb? what is the actual cutting,grinding, or shaving tool used to get the material out? got someone experimenting with this at their shop.

i used a lathe to bore the carb, and had to use a boring mille to bore the ventur because there is abosloutly no way to chuck on the venturi lol

i had originally bored the venturi to 42.5mm but i broke it in half, but mix gave me another one and its now 42mm

42.5mm is pushing the strenght of the venturi just a little to far IMO but the extra .020 you get from the 42mm is worth it to me,
i dont think you will see much, if any gain from 42mm to 42.5mm
