I need some help and I didn't know where else to post this. I am trying to get a picture of mine on here for my avatar. It is hosted on a website, and I can copy and paste the address into the URL area of this site, but it does not copy the whole address. It gets cut off after so many letters. Am I limited as to how long the address can be or what? I don't understand. Please help!

All you have to do is right click on the pic and save it...then you can go onto this site, click browse, then pick the one you saved it as and you can always delete it afterwards...

you don't have to have your avatar hosted somewhere. you can up load it from your computer. just go into your user cp and then avatar settings then click browse and then find your pic click open then amend your avatar settings and it should show up in the preview area. PM me if your still having problems.

Do you mean I can just use a picture that's on my hard drive, or does it have to be one that's hosted online? Is your picture hosted on the web?

Mine is hosted online...but it does not have to be...just click browse and find it on your comp...if ya have problems PM me or Jonesy

Yeah T-Rex, you can host your avatar from your hard drive. No need to link it from another site.

I'm a moron guys. I was trying to use pics that were bigger than 85kb. I figured it out. Sorry to waste your time, but thanks for the help!

It shrunk them down automatically for me??
