TNT Actionsports in Quincy, IL will be have a dyno shootout Nov. 1st for all quads.

Entry: $15 per run.

Prizes: Not sure what they will be yet. I know it will be some type of gift certificate to the Honda dealership. They will probably be 1st- $200, 2nd- $100, and 3rd- $50.

Classes: There will be different classes so bring whatever you have.

This is a great and cheap opportunity to settle those fueds with your friends on who has more power or if you just want to see what kind of power your quad makes. You will never have as cheap of a chance to strap your quad to the dyno as this. Hope see everyone there.

tell Lee I want a grudge match! j/k

Im there!
I extend the invitation for anyone close to Carbondale, IL to meet and ride up with me if it will help with gas and all, if you live south..

hope Hondaman an some other will seize this oppurtunity..

youd think with all the heads out there that have been done up and people who dont live close to a dyno would jump right on this....15 dollars a pull? lol

blows my mind more people havent..

what about all the venom boys?
Any idea on the classes for 450 based?[/b]

There will b a 450 class and then probably a 450+ class. They know what they are doing and will make it fair for all quads from minis to 700+'s.
Hey Jeff I am in that sounds like a blast.
glad I am not in the 450 class.... there will be cheaters lol you know someone will enter up a 533 or so in it... lol

I hope we dont have to use it (the bike guys didnt have a problem last weekend) but I heard that they have a pump that can check displacement. Also I think you would be able to tell from the graph. Johnny had dyno'd enough of these things over the years that he would know if something looked a little fishy.
That sounds like a great time.[/b]
Should be, and I think Jeff will represent you well. haha
I know more of you want to come and get in on this. Or is everyone scared of miller's 471???
sounds like a blast! i wish that my R would hold tranny oil right now... because i would like to come. kind of a long trip but me and rick would be able to tough it out haha
We have 5 quads coming now from my neck of the woods. 4 450r's and a YFZ that will be very very strong... My build is really mild compared to a few with web 208's that are coming with me. But they are in the stockbore class, but will pull like big bores. I am not concerned with winning anything, just using it to tune for cheap :_specialED: If anyone wants to ride with us its a little late, we have a huge trailer jam-packed already. Were pulling with a full club-cab so you could follow if you want.

Will there be a reward for the most torque?

You have a few weeks. Tear it apart and get her ready.

Not sure if Johnny will hook up the a/f meter or not so I dont know how much "tuning" you will be able to do.

And sadly I dont think there a reward for the most torque, but you never know what they have up their sleeves.
well...id like to be able to change a jet once, thats all .. 1 or 2 horsepower will lie in two jet sizes...but I understand there will be time constraints...perhaps it could depend on how many people show...i kinda took it that 15 dollars a pull meant that I could spend 45 if I wanted ...no biggie

That I think you can do. I dont see why they wouldnt let you pay to go again, but I dont know if he is going to have the a/f meter hooked up because that takes some time if he was to do it for each bike. So I dont see why you wouldnt be able to go more than once but you would have to just guess at the jetting.
Time is from 8-3pm. I think I forgot to include that in my first post.
