Apache Racing Drag Pegs

Anyone run these drag pegs on a yfz? I need a huge favor...
Bought a set of pegs about 2 months ago and was sent the wrong bracket for the left side peg. Could someone please send me a drawing/sketch or CAD file of the dimensions so I can get one made by a local machine shop. Doesnt look like Rene is ever gonna send me my part (been at least a month since i was told it was "shipping out tomorrow"), so now i get to spend MORE money! someone please help me out. Thanks.

im not taking sides here but dont you think 2 months is plenty of time to get that part shipped to him? hes looking for his local machine shop to finish a product he purchased.

rene is a top notch guy when i bought my drag pegs from him, i would try to get it from him first

well i just checked my pms and Aug. 1st was the first time i contacted him about my problem. So its been at least a month. The thing is I didnt purchase the pegs from Rene, but he did know of the wrong bracket sent out to the previous guy. And the guy I bought them from has spoke with Rene a couple times about this and even offered to pay him any extra expenses. Before i bought them i talked to Rene about buying a set from him and was told he had 50 sets in stock, now he says it takes time to set up his machine to make yfz pegs b/c they are not in high demand.
I've sent numerous pms to Rene asking about the bracket, and have not got a response to any of them since the end of August.

Im not gonna bash Rene or his shop, I just want my parts so i can get these pegs on my bike! Hopefully someone here can contact him other than on this forum, or he can read this thread and get my parts out. I will edit all my posts or have this thread deleted when my part arrives.

Edit: I will give him some time, but if I dont have them soon I will pay a machine shop to cut a bracket for me. Although, that would probly cost more than the pegs are worth to have 1 bracket it cut and polished. Time will tell...

I am not a member there, and dont want my first post on another site to sound like im bashing him or his shop. Could you or anyone pm him for me and ask him to check this thread or his pms on this site? Thanks

I sent him a PM on Tech a few weeks ago and no reply, I know he's busy with his new job venture, I don't think he's been on lately very much

Well looks like he got on this forum yesterday.
Still no answer to my pms??? Come on Rene, You already got paid for the pegs and sent out the wrong bracket. Tom even offered to pay for the polishing or he would do it himself. So whats the problem? Cut a bracket and ship it!!!! Just answer my pms and get my part out so i can get these parts on my bike and this thread can be deleted.

I just got a pm from someone who knows him and says hes been out of town and just got back. So hopefully he will get my little part done for me soon. Still no response to my pms from him tho??

yup we just gotta hope that he will fix the problem. thats why buying on the internet sucks sometimes, you are at the mercy of the seller. since you'll never really see them in person, you can't just go back to a store and bizniggle.

it pays to buy off of credible/reliable sources...

im having the same prob. with fako (bako) he sold a swinger to my buddy and now he is backing out of a bad sell!
