anybody have pics of water pump assb,

after i took off my water pump there is the little white circle piece with a rubebr seal on one side? which way is the rubber seal supposed to face towards the mechanical seal or towards the water pump impeller? and in the diagram breakdown its called a 7mm washer is that correct.

if I am reading this correctly........

their are two surfaces which mate up together......

one is the white 'teflon' type seal..... smooth surface....

this should mate up against a rubber type seal.....but I dont recal which one was where......just that they were mates....

well i guess ill wait till i get a new piece becuse i know it goes mechanical seal then the white seal with the rubebr on it but the rubber only wraps around the outside then on one side and im wondering what side of it goes against the mechanical seal just the plastic side or the rubber side?
