Air Bubbles?

Well, had my bike fine adjusted the decompressor arm and it started up like abeauty hot and cold. Put everything together ..Oh guess what bike doesnt start, couldnt even push start it. As i was taking nit off I was taking the black plastic cover off and i unhooked the oil line from the head cover and i heard a gasp of air from the airbox, What is this?

To give a rundown, Need help getting bike to start, tore it back down, heard the gasp like above, all clearances still in check, decomp was brought from a .010 to a .025 i think. It started up perfectly after i put gas tank on, put all plastics back on and wouldnt start, now the batteries almost dead and no battery charger. Everything looks good i dont know why it wont start

Anyone? It started fine after i adjusted the decomp, started like it did when it was new, idled for like 2 minutes, got it hot shut it off and restarted it no prob. Put plastics on and now i cant even push start it

This is so confusing i swear, PUT PLASTICS ON AND NO START..how does that go together.. Ahhhhh.

Only thing i can think of is decomp but how would it start fine hot and cold, then not start at all.
Ugh, Read something similar to my problem on tt.com posted today. They think it may be the starter or cdi. How do i tell if my starters shot or going bad? But would a bad starter disable me from push starting it also?
You prob. already checked this, but it never hurts to ask... Is the gas turned on? Gas in the tank? Maybe the hose going from the petcock to the carb came off. Its prob just something simple like that, something was misplaced (i.e. a wire or hose) when you put the plastic back on.

Checked gas on and reserve tried it all, no kinks in any lines. When i was taking it apart when i took off hose to head cover, i heard a burst of air in the airbox. Other then that everythings still in spec from before when it started. Spark plug in, cap on, water pump thing in, all of it. Only thing I can think of is decomp but why would it start then not start, That burst of air is really disturbing me, It had to be that cuz nothing else changed, I dont see how it could be decomp if it started just 20 mins before putting on plastics but i'll get a compression gauge tomorrow i suppose


Bent valve did cross my mind but everyone has told me that if you bend a valve you will hear it hit the piston, I didnt hear ANYTHING even close to abnormal when it was running. So i highly doubt it is a bent valve.
