Air Box Lid problem

I have recently taken the baffle out of my 450r, and put the bigger tip on, and then when i took the wir box lid off i lost all my power it would idle fine, but thenwhen started to hit the throttle when i was in gear, it would bog and die if i kept on it, now i dont get it because i could revthe hell out of it when it was in nuetral, so do i need to jet, or just mess with the fuel/air ratio screw, and if i can do it just be the screw, how do i do that and where would i want it set at. thanks hope to hear back

dude im a nebie also and having the same exact problem. i would luv to see an answer to this..
definatly need to rejet, DEFINATLY. As for what you need i cant tell you, it depends on your elevation etc. Im at sea level with a sparks pipe so my jetting would be different from yours

EDIT: Buy a HRC jet kit and use what it comes with, search on here what people are running, even though u dont have the hrc header you can still get pretty close.
the hrc jet kit should get you close to where you need to be.

yeah i been doing a lot of rasearching, and i think i sa your post below me, and if you still have the stock lid you can run that with the baffle out, and put the fuel air screw, at like 3 is what i found the best, but im like at 500 ft above sea level
