Add a battery?????

Yea i wanted to know if anyone knows if it is possible to add a battery to a 2004 kick start 450r an have it charge from the motor like the electric start 450r..

Yes you can. The two wires going to the condenser under the hood (round rubber coated thing on the right side while sitting on the quad). I believe the wires are red and green. Red is 12v and the green is ground. You can either tap into those wires directly to a battery or replace the condenser all together. You should get about 14-14.5 volts at idle to charge the battery. Just remember to fuse the + wire to the battery.
