AC Racing Exhaust - Jetting

I have an 05 TRX 450r - I replaced the exhaust with a FULL exhaust system from AC racing - was told to run the main jet at 162, the pilot is a 42 needle in 4th clip.
It ran great at El Mirage 2800 ft. It did seem to sputter at the top - I'm assuming this is the rev limiter... I do have a non-programable PRO-COM cdi (don't notice a big difference)

First of all ...does this seem like a rich enough jet?? Should I go richer? Can I do anything else about the rev limiter - anything that would run better??

If i run my quad at pismo beach (sea level) How much should I go up in the Main Jet size??

I am also running a K&N with the lid off. Everything else on the bike is stock

i think a 162 is too lean for the 05 model 450,i think most people run around a 185.once you get that figured out a good rule of thumb is.1 jet size for every 2000ft and for every 20 degrees.higher in elev.and higher in temp= lower jet size, lower in temp or lower in elev.=bigger jet.now this is a rule of thumb because the humidity plays a role in this too.high humidity make bikes run richer.
