I have a buddy with a cylinder works big bore cylinder with a vortex 99mm piston. It looks brand new and was only used few times. I can buy it from him for $250. What size big bore would this be? Do you think it would be worth it to buy it?

I have a 2007 450er and this kit came off a 2008 450er

Not a bad price, but this is probably same as stock compression (12:1).. this would turn ur bike into a 480cc

Thanks for the reply, my buddy told me it is a 12.5:1 piston. Would that still make it a 480cc?

Never mind I asked my buddy and he said it was a 12:1.

I just got the piston from my buddy and the part number on it is 14-0919685 the piston says it is a vertex. It also has a cylinder works cylinder. Both of he got as a kit and these were only on the quad for about two hours before he took them off to get a bigger bore cylinder.
