501 complete

Picked up the bike yesterday and and talked to my builder alittle about the dyno runs and #s after the new carb and intake upgrade. its a 501 and from stock carb and intake to a 42.5 fcr with a modded ers intake I gained 3.5 hp and 4 ft/tq. The thing pulls awsome all the way through the curve just wish it peaked out at a little higher rpm but my cam selection was off a little when I did the build . Instead of slapping a stgIII cam I left the stgII in it because it was pertty much new, my bad. Anyway the horse power #s are not as high as others on here with 501 builds but im at 38ft/tq with awsome throttle response, with that said I want to thank sredrum for the awsome carb bore job. Dont know what u do for a finish polish but it looked fantastic. Also thanx to everyone that I got parts and opinions from IT helped alot. Most of my build parts came off this site. From the awsome VENNOM pipie from jon, to my gas tank , carb,piston It all came from this site. THANX again everyone and ride safe.
