im thinking about building a 501 or 511, but i dont know the diffrence.... I use to have a 471cc build which was a stroker crank... but what will i need to to to get a 501 or a 511???? please help me with info

lol just kiddin what year is your bike?

with that crank the 04-05 with typical big bore will be 501 because its a +3mm bore
or with that crank in a 06-08 with typical BB will be a 511 because they are +4mm bore

standard 3MM stroke, 3mm bore on a 04-05 will yield a 501

standard 3mm stroke 4mm bore on a 06-08 will yield a 511

a 04-05 3mm stroke will make 471 which is what u got

a 06-08 3mm stroke will make a 470

You would need to add a aftermarket cylinder to ur stroker either a Cylinder works (cheaper)

or a JSR/Nmotion/ ice cube cylinder ( a lot more expensive )

Im pretty sure my info is accurate but could be a little wrong..lol

my bike is an 07 so i uess it will be a 511.....woot woot lol i cant just dend the dylinder to venom for porting?? or i have o buy aanother cylinder? that was my whole plan strker crank and venom cylinder boring

nope stock cylinder cant hold the pressure bored out with that crank you have in there

Actually the 3mm stroke on the 04-05 is a 470 and the 3mm stroke on the 06+ is a 471.

if you have an 05 cyl in decent shape i might be interested in trading you my damaged one and some cash for your good one, since you are going big bore the damaged nicasil wont matter. it just got slightly scored from the piston, nothing that will affect the big bore sleeve.
