It looked not 2 bad but i have seen better...i guess its not 2 bad for the 400ex. I like the stock look of the 450r better tho...it could also beat that quad...thats y i like the 450R it can beat most quads wit over a grand put into them...gotta love it

I had a 465ex stroker that had around 45 hp. The stock 450r could not keep up with it. I had 12 grand in aftermarket parts on it. It look really sweet! that is for a 400!

What do you guys think?

THats a verrry nice 400...best i seen yet i think...but the thing is look how much money you put into it to get 45 hors..with a few cheeper mods to the 450 it could keep up with that.but hey if moneys not an issue then hey y not go that way..but ya really nice quad!

That is a good looking EX i have a 440 with web cams and a 12.5 (made into a 13-1) comp piston and i am getting just a little above 40 on it..... it has 8g in parts on it...... <_<

With 4g in parts on my R and only engine mod is the pipe and filter i can SMOKE my 440 every where and it only has 36 hp.....

it's really not about the ponys the thing puts out. it's really wear the pony's hit and how hard they hit along with a big arse TORQ factor!

Or it is just about the fact that one is better than the other..... my EX pulls from 3000 and never stops but the R just gets to its 36 HP faster....... you can look at a dyno and they can be the same curve and power and everything but if one gets to the revs faster (the R) then the other (ex) will lose..... that is why i seem to never be able to take a YFZ off the line... he revs faster and gets to his power before i do or can.............but then i will catch him....

I spent allot of money on this quad because I did not think Honda was ever going to put something out. One thing for sure nothing could bet this bike unless it was a very pump up banshee. Here's another pick for you 400 lovers!

That's for sure! That 465 can only keep up until 2nd gear then my 450 leaves that 465 like a bad habit. How's your hand Kid? B)

Isn't technology great? A 450 killing a 465...or a 660

did you have iny problems with it being air cooled.
