a genaral statement could be that a old 250 takes more only because it is just that old i have had nothing but trouble with my r after thousands in aftermarket suspension and things and now it sits in a garage leaking tranny fluid
cant wait to get a 450r sick of working on things like my 250
depending on many things once again a general statment
a 2 popper will need to be rebuilt ''in my experiance'' twice as often as a four
even if you dont rebuild the whole thing a new piston and rings is the minimum for me every spring and new clutch do to the rpm and slipping required to keep it revving like a banshee ''animal not quad''
i have a 250r now and have half the money in it as a new 450 and i havent had 1 even get close to me. It is the fastest quad i've ever ridden. But im selling it to get a 450 just because they are decently fast with out mods. Nothing handles like a 250 though and they are soooo light. You can jump them forever long. :hey:
