Ok, so to begin, the quad will start and run fine, idles fine and everything. But once I go to pull it back or move it forward it locks up. Not the engine or anything but the back tires will just stop. It seems like it could possibly be the axle or maybe the something with the chain. It will roll back/forward about 2-3 feet then just stop. Any ideas? Anything will help. I just want to ride. thanks

Check you chain is the link popping out? If not I would say pull the chain and spin the rear tires in the air, at that point if they spin freely then you know the chain or bent gear is a problem

Put your quad up on blocks underneath your trailing arm. So that your rear wheels can spin freely. Take your chain off the rear sprocket. Now try and spin you axle. Also try wiggling your axle back and forth. I’m guessing it’s locking up because your carrier bearings are shot. Replace your carrier bearings and you’ll be good to go.
