06 trx450r bogging

i have a 06 trx450r that runs great from 1/4 to 3/4 throttle but when i give it 100% throttle it falls on its face and will stall if i keep it wide open but if i let off to 3/4 throttle it runs great again. this really stumps me. thanks in advance..[/b]

all stock as far as i no. the airlid top is cut out and i took the spark canister out of the muffler.

Yeah you need to bump the main jet up or put a full airbox lid back on.

what size jet do i have? and what should i jus go up one size? also my friend has a 03z400 with a kit with alot of jets. r they all the same

Stock is 120 i believe. I just put a different intake on with half the lid cut off and i went up to a 162 with no problems.

cool thanks. but r all jets the same. my buddy has a z400 and has a 165 jet. will it work and do u i will be ok with that size jet.

If i were you and you have the money, i would talk to woodwardspecialties and get their hrc jet kit. Hes a great sponsor with fast shipping and cheap stuff. It comes with a 162 main, 55 leak, and the hrc needle which is highly recommended. I got that and the sparks air filter kit and was impressed with the difference.
