Ok i think im gonna go with racers edge shop for the turn around time. So do my valves need to be re seated or do i need new valves in general. Can i keep stock springs? And should i do +1 valves all around with porting?

For November/Decemeber we will be having a special on our 06-08 TRX 450R Gen.1 CNC heads. Heads are cut in-house with a MillPort 5 Axis, and price will include a CNC valve job as well.
The special price will be $425 with a valve job. Plus size valve seats are no extra charge. We do recommend stepping up to +1 Exhaust valves.
To Cold start start mine I pump the throttle 10 times (it's in the owners manual) then full choke and crank.. If it starts and stalls, I pump another 2-3 times then crank her up again... I live in Canada and she starts no problem in -20 celcius..

So i started a new thread in engine forum . But its still not starting after new intake valves put in by a local shop. I got .006 on both intake valves timing marks lined up carburetor cleaned new spark plug new gas. Seems like the first touch of electric start almost fires up but then its not close after that. I had the battery connected to my truck for good cranking amps still nothin. Im supposed to go riding this weekend ... if i cant figure it out tonight or tomorow im not going

Does anyone know of a wrench that is for sale that is used to tighten the Chain on the Honda ATVs? I know you can use 2 screwdrivers, but I'm wanting something that fits better and doesn't slip out. Like a Spanner Wrench or ?

i've adjusted the chain plenty of times with no problem. but this last time i backed the allens out and tried to turn the plate up to loosen the chain. and it wont budge. then i tried pulling down and still nothing. does anyone have expiernce with this. any advice will be helpful.

I just picked up an 04 450R, got it mainly for trail running and the stock gearing was too high, so I just replaced the sprockets with 13T front and 40T rear.
