Hi my carb keeps leaking fuel from the over flow and I rebuilt the carb twice and got a new oem float as well and it still leaks. I think the float valve isn’t seating correctly. Is there a way to fix the seating of the valve or adjust the float? Stock float doesn’t have adjustments. I’m ready to sell it.

I ran into this once and it was on a TRX450R. Everything was replaced, cleaned multiple times, inspected, adjusted, etc. Finally threw in the towel and bought a new used carb and all was good. Even a new carb from Honda is only a couple hundred bucks. That was a long time ago, but I remember it was very frustrating.

I suggest you look into doing the same.

The stock float should have an adjustment and the manual tells you where to set it at. You just bend the tab that the needle sets on. If you have to dump money in it would be a good time to upgrade to an fcr.

Update, ordered new oem float and float valve. Then I hit the seat with a Q-tip and some compound to clean the surface and it worked! No more leak.
