07 450r with start up problem! HELP

I recently purchased a 07 TRX450r. Has Dasa exhaust, jetted carb, cam, & aftermarket sprockets. The bike was running strong but having issues starting and would only start on choke. I am under the assumption that the motor isn't getting enough gas, and I removed the carb and checked and it's not clogged, so I went ahead and ordered a bigger pilot jet and gonna see how that plays out. Has anyone experienced anything similar with issues getting the bike started but then once its running, it runs great? Any feedback is appreciated!

Does it start easier cold then hot? If carb is jetted right then next place to check is usually valves.

I just put the carb back together and put it on the bike and seems like a smaller pilot jet fixed the issue! Had a 50 and went down to a 48 with open air box, full dasa exhaust, stage 2 cam.

Yeah that's always the sign if it only starts and idles with choke on is almost always way to big of a Pilot Jet.
