Carb adapter

I am messing with the fcr swap on my 04-05. I have ran it with the 06 airbox with no issues but was going to switch back to the 04-05 box. I have a noss or similar adapter that is for stock bore but have picked up a bored carb. Who matched the adapters to the carb bore or makes larger bore adapters?

How big are you going? My adapters are right at or just a fuzz under 43mm.

I know Racers Edge will make Custom Adapters for bored carburetors but they need the carburetor to make thr adaptor. I mean you might be able to give them a measurement I'm sure they can make you one.

I need to measure again but last night it was showing almost 44.5, I could feel a lip on the adapter when I placed it up against it. It had been a long day so I didn't mess with it much but will check again. I will look on RE site and see if there is any info.

RE doesn’t have any info on their site, it hasn’t been updated since about 2010 lol. Contact them or Morgan (azquadparts) on eBay. They can make whatever you need. 44.5 is a big carb, what kind of build are you running that on?

I thought it was a big bore on it too, really didn't think it was that big. I want to recheck it to be sure but didn't get out in the shop any last night. It's not a real big build 480 with the usual mild stuff, hrc cam rossier, and mild head work. I have a stock bore carb too that I was using so I may just go with that set up for a while until I get this other lined out. I for some reason was thinking 43.5 was about as big as they could go without some mods? But it is a db carb and the wall on the intake side was getting pretty thin it looked so idk.

If you call Racers Edge and talk to John Directly he will give you the info.
