If you want something quieter I would either use the stock exhaust with an HRC endcap, or go with something like a Yoshimura with the quiet tip. The “best exhaust” and “quieter” don’t go hand-in-hand. But, I’m like you, for normal riding and trails I would much rather have a quieter pipe even if it means sacrificing a bit of power. Dasa is one of the better pipes out there, but even the classic pipe with the quiet core installed is pretty loud, plus I’ve broken several of the quiet cores in Dasa pipes, they’re just a poor design. Personally, for general riding I run the Yoshi with a quiet core and spark arrestor.

I second this. It's hard to find a middle ground. I swapped out my Motoworks exhaust for the FMF Q4. I lost some power but not enough to make me sad. It's super quiet.
