Jetting

I just swapped in my fcr carb. It has 180 main and 48 pilot. Starts up fine, still sputters a lot but once it is Wot it runs fine. It also backfires on deceleration. Which of the jets do I need to change?

The quad has a high compression piston, full dasa exhaust and stage 2 hotcam. The fcr carb is bored out to 42.25 mm

48 is too big for pilot, Someone else in here with more knowledge about your mods and jetting should respond but I think commonly people run 42, might need a 45.

180 is big, never sen anything run fine with more than a 45, more of a 42 like suggested.
Decel popping means header air leak, change the exhaust crush gasket.

Agreed ^^ 42 would be ideal for your mods.. I’d figure your main would be around 170 as well

Also runs on vp110 if that makes a difference in what jets I need to run, I was told to ask dasa so I did and the person told me to try a 200 main. That’s the first time I’ve been suggested to do that from multiple people
