Alright guys. 2008er Brand new build just put back in the frame. Using stock bore 12.5:1 cp piston, hc3, RE head with +1 intake and exhaust valves. I’m using a 04-05 cam tower with sprocket and when I time it up and tighten the timing chain tensioner it moves the alignment mark on the sprocket away from the alignment marks on the cam tower. Turn the engine over almost a whole revolution and it hits the valves. Intakes I think. Will this cam/tower/sprocket work with my engine? It’s working me to death
Thanks so much!! I looked up the part numbers for the sprockets and sure enough they are different. I thought I had a serious piston/valve problem. Thanks guys!!!
