I have a 2009 trx450er that i recently fully rebuilt. I got it all back together and the shifter immediately was stiffer than before. When i shift it is harder and requires more force and if i don't use enough force it often comes out of gear. Any idea on what is wrong with it?

Easy thing would be to take the side cover off and see if there is anything binding or something on the shift drum or on the star, If all looks good there probably going to have to take it back apart and make sure everything is lined up good internally and no tin a bind or bent. Are you talking when running or when not running as well? If it is only doing it while running it is more than likely a clutch issue.
