Welcome. What region of the Caribbean? I love on a peninsula, just north of Cuba.

I'm from Dominica

Currently have her up and riding and sorting out a few issues.
Bike came in black with broken nerf bars, and no tail light. Grab Bar bolts and nerf bolts were broken off and the exhaust system needed replacing.

Bought an engine with CRF Pistons and Rods, Ported Head and CRF Cam

Added the Following as Well:
FMF Powerbomb Header
LEXX Slip-on
Alba Racing Nerf Bars
2010 Plastics and Headlight
Streamline Rear Brake Line

I think I'll start a project thread soon

So this example, when picked up from auction was in real piss poor state

Mods done so far:
Newly rebuilt motor with CRF internals (Cam, Crank, Piston, Rod)
Mild port job on the head
Uni foam filter
Fmf powerbomb header
Lexx slip-on exhaust
Billet engine plugs and oil filler cap
Airbox lid mod
Alba racing Nerf bars
Streamline racing steel braided brake lines
2006+ Plastics, gas tank, headlight and tail light conversion
New clutch and throttle cables
American star steering ends
CV products coolant hose
Primary drive chain and sprockets

Haven't decided on Suspension and the rest of the mods. Plan on spending some more time digging through the forums as I sort the rest of the issues out

The new Motor

Old Motor sitting in the picture

She has finally landed on our shores!

Fresh out the crate

Installing 2006+ Plastics

New Uni Airfilter

Time for a bit more upgrades

The sight glass on the stator cover was broken so I ordered in a new one. The headlights had gone out again and was getting a very low power reading through the wiring. The new cover came with a stator and decided to install it as is. Took the opportunity to perform a full service, some suspension adjustments and change out the tie rod end (One got bent during a small accident). I took out a few turns of preload on the front shocks as I Found them to be a bit too stiff and bumpy and had minimal travel. The preload definitely helped. The whole front and rear braking system was replaced as I couldn't dial out a vague feeling front lever, which no matter how much we bled the system, the lever kept going flat.

We moved on to the chain and sprockets which showed significant signs of wear.

New headlight brackets and headlights installed

Moved on to the rear of the bike and had a **** of a time there. The axle nuts and bearing assembly were difficult to remove and the axle bearing surface had a bit of rust. That now means....new axle, new carrier bearing....added to cart. As a temporary measure I cleaned up the surface with sandpaper, then regreased it

Took the opportunity to replace the rear caliper bracket bushing
