Okay, so a few months ago I bought a slightly used HMF slip-on (the anodized red one) from a member off the forsale section here for $155 shipped. I got it, it was sweet. I put it on with stock jetting and airfilter and rode around and it was loud with a nice deep roar and faster. After a few hours of riding I noticed it needed to be rejetted so I went ahead and got a 124 main jet and my UNI filter to put on (the lid is on with no holes). Ran much better after this. Also the low RPM bogging went away too.
A few months later I win a Dr. D slip-on off the sites here MAY 31st raffle! Wow was I excited. I anxiously awaited the pipe and wondered what it would sound like. I finally get it and put it on and wow. Throttle response is ALOT better, the noise is not as deep but nowhere near as loud, and seems to rev longer and higher. I can honestly say this pipe is MUCH better then the HMF slip-on. I still have the 124 main jet in, a uni filter on, & the airbox lid on and intact. If you have the extra dough for this pipe then I would definately reccommend it over the HMF slip-on. Thanks AllMixedUp450r for the exhaust!
