I know this probally doesnt belong in this section but i want to put it in here cause most of you probally order parts from MX distributors. Here is my experience with Parts Direct in Las Vegas,NV.
Ok heres the deal. I placed a order with Parts Direct on April 2nd for a Trailtech bar clamp/dashboard and x bar combo. After a week and a half i didnt recieve my order. I called them and they told me it has been shipped from trailtech themselves. I then called trailtech and they had no records of anything being shipped to me. Then i called back Parts Direct and told them what trailtech said. Parts Direct then told me " Oh no it was shipped from us you should receive it by the end of this week (This was on April 13th). I asked for a tracking # and they said "it wasnt available" (kinda odd). The end of the week then came and i still didnt receive anything. Then the following week i checked my order through thier site and was able to get a tracking #. I then went to check the status and found out they actually shipped it out April 16th (so they lied to me and told me it was shipped and meanwhile it wasn't). I finally then received the order around April 21-22. When i opened the box everything was there except for the Key and indicator light relocator dash. Great I wait 3 weeks for a damn simple order and all the BS'n me from Parts Direct and I'm missing pieces. However i did still install everything, except i had to rig my indicator light by wedging it into the hole where my gas cap breather tube goes down and had to put my key switch somewhere under my hood. I then called Parts Direct and told them about the missing piece. They said whoever packed it forgot to pack it in the box and they will get one out to me asap. Again another week goes by and i didnt receive the missing piece. I call them again and the same idiot girl tells me "It's coming from Trailtech" (April 29th). So again i call Trailtech , they have no record of it ( Oh no, not again with this BS). I called Parts Direct back and told them, then they tell me "The item is backordered and as soon as they get it they will ship it next day air to me". Now it's May 21st and i still havent received this missing item. I will call them again on Mon. The whole point of why I'm typing all this is so i can show you all what a horrible company and the lies they tell you just to get you off the phone. They have no idea of the status of thier orders. They have no customer service at all. Yea they might offer a slightly better price then other MX distributors but the headache is not worth it. Hope none of you experience this kind of service from a company. I certainly will never order any item from them again................

yes, some people have had trouble with them in the past. So another reason not to buy from them.

I ordered from them one time about a year ago, got the wrong thing, sent it back and it took them 2 months and some name caaling and threats to send the right item. They are very rude and unprofessional to say the least.

I live in vegas, and go there to buy some of my parts. When i bought my "R" back in Oct 04 i ordered a Dr. D exhaust from them on a friday. they called me on the following monday (3 days) and said the exhaust was in. I think that's pretty good service. IMO

Service is often different when they know they will have to look you in the eyes. It’s a fact, it’s easier to lie on the phone to someone 1000 miles away.

No I don't. why would i say i go there to get some of my parts if i worked there, i wouldn't have to go there DUH!!!!

HMMMMMM? Parts direct is down the street from my house. I Think they are great! I guess it's different when you order stuff on the phone

That's why I usually go with Rocky Mountain ATV or a site sponser. Never had a problem with either one.

I had the same run around with them. I'd probably never order from them again. Most sponsors here can at least match, and in most cases, beat their pricing.

I went with them for my Dr. D because I didn't know that WPP had them here. First of all .. I was excited about "free freight." That was a load of crap .. you still pay handling fees
Then .. they took SO long to get to me with no communication. I emailed them so many times with some BS replies. Never got my promised tracking # .. I will NEVER do business with them again!

Only good thing I can say about them is that I got one package one day with a full set of LT houser a arms and then the very next day I got another full set of LT arms so now i have a extra set of arms. Screw those guys maybe if it didn't take so long to get my stuff and they were alittle more professional of there jobs then i may have sent the 2nd box of arms back but screw them im keeping them.
