anyone download the demo? this game is hard as hell, and alot of fun, the only thing i dont like about it is if you hit another rider or if they hit you then you wreck not them, it a pain in the ace.....

yeah the game looks good, its cool you can control the bike and the rider seperate, makes the game alot harder, dosent look as good as Pure but looks better than any of the previouse mx vs atv games, ill probably buy it

Just downloaded the game and its ok but the graphics suck. I hope the release has it in a higher resolution than 480 like the demo is. Does anyone else has problems doing tricks in freestyle?

its pretty damn tough, graphics will be way better when its released, it is hard to get used to using the right thumb for things other than the space bar.

downloaded the demo, and i was thoroughly disgusted with the game. Not a recommendation for anyone! so far nothing beats pure! Games arent suppose to be realistic, that y that are called GAMES. if i want it to be like riding the real thing then i will just go ride the real thing! I want the game to have fake moves and sickening air that are impossible to hit in real life. And i dont want my rider to fall over on every corner or little bump.

IF you pre ordered, might as well get ur money back now cuz it wont be worth anything when u try to sell it back.

I dunno maybe im the only one but i thought pure was gay. It was fun but the mx vs atv games are realistic, which I personally like. I guess to each there own.

I hated that game. MX vs. ATV untamed is a lot better. I am downloading the new one right now.

pure is bad ace....i like all the atv games...pure cause its just fun, you can do almost anything and not wreck, where as i like mx vs atv games cause they are realistic....you just wreck way to damn easy on the mx vs atv games

uI personaly prefer the MX vs ATV becaus you can wreck fairly easy and there is allot of give compared to real life! if you have a quad game where its nearly imposible to wreck whats the skill there? at least you have to be a great player to win and be good on MXvs ATV.


its like shooter games. I prefer Grand theft auto any day over call of duty. personaly becaus I suck at shooter games and at least with grand theft auto you can lock onto your targets and go nuts!! its easy!

Its worth buying, its hard to get use too but it's fun, there are some sweet hill climbs you can customize your quad, once you figure out the corners you can rip around the track.

basicly go get a ps2 get mx vs atv unleashed and rep that my opinion its the best hahaha

Can you switch the controls?

I know the default controls for Need For Speed Shift had R2 as gas and L2 as brake and I hated it and switched it.

Maybe switching the controls will make it more fun?

yes you can switch controls, i have been playing the crap out of this game, it look killer on my tv, it just take finess to play it, i cant do the super cross, i just do the free rides and nationals right now

yea there are 6 presets and 3 of them have throttle as R2 and the other 3 have throttle as L2

i know i hate the analog sticks to control the guy they shoulda set it up like unleashed for ps2, with them controls and the games graphics to me itd be amazing...ive been playin it alot n its hard to keep the guy on the track, but once u get used to it its sweet. tried a 20 lap national n could hardly ride the track the ruts were so bad

I'm guessing it's because the buttons are not o whats the word I'm looking for ummmm the buttons are either on or off. With the trigger's you can pull them in a little bit or all the way to change your speed almost like an actual throttle that make any sense at all I'm getting tired lol.

yea i just cant stand it cause my fingers always want to slip off the backside of those buttons when holding them down because im always WFO lol

hows modding the quads as to compared to mx vs atv untamed and pure?

i dont even use the right stick to turn just the left to control the bike and i just brake into the turns and it makes the game a little easier

you can buy parts but no where near as detailed like pure, you have exhaust and graphic kits, handlebars, tires thats pretty much it no a-arms and swingers and all that, no changing colors but with the graphic kits and you get 2 colors to choice from, its just like al mx vs atv's but the parts do give you performance that you can adjust, and the gear, helmets, gloves ,goggles and all are name brand like fox, oneil, tld ect......

playing it online is like call of duty where as you get xp and level up but seems to take a while for a match to load up

i have been playing it for about a week now and man that game gets me so mad the rider will just fall off over nothing but he can land like huge drops and jumps???!!and whenever im racing supercross im flying off the track all the time and whine i get reset i fish tail all over the place the tip over somehow. its a good game but its just so f*cking hard!

finally got to play this game for about a week. After putting about 4 hours a night on it I have to say it is freaking amazing. Yes, the rider control stick is hard to get used to at first, but once you do it gives you so much more control. You can really blast through the corners. Compared to pure the realism of the riding experience is way better. However pure has way more customization options for the quads. But if your looking for the most realistic racing experience this is definately it. I loved it.

I rented it from Block Buster for 5 days as of lastnite im sure if i like it or not

After 6+ hrs on this game i really like it now..Hell my 9yr old daughter picked up the controls on it quicker then i did lol

i got the game for christmas, its probli the best atv racin game there is...i hate to say but i find myself riding the bike more than the quad...

the controls is what makes the whole game, makes it a lot more "life like" best alternative for not bein able to go out and ride...



what sucks the most is that i got this game and Call of duty mw2 for xmas, i never know what to play...The COD is addicting as hell seeing as im better in that game than the MX v ATV

know this post is old but i just got it yesterday and was wondering if theres a way to preload the suspension?

all you have to do is lean back off the kump, and a soon as you are in the air let the joystick go back to the center by its self....

left or right joystick, anyhting i do doesnt make a difference. and how in hell do you do tricks.

with the right stick.....

and it does not make a huge difference. it is more realistic.....
and tricks are hard as hell.....lol
