Think I got it this figured out, let me know what you think

Front: Race Runner 2.5" shocks (3" lift) $475
Toy Tec Front Diff Drop Kit $30 (do i need this with c/o shocks?)

Rear: Toy Tec Add-a-leaf (2" lift) $80
Toy Tec Brake Proporting valve bracket kit $10
(maybe add a race runner rear shock too?)

Intake: already have a K/N kit

exhaust: Flowmaster 40series dual outlet $150-200

Wheels: 6 x 5.5 16x9 wheels with 4.5 backspacing offset

Tires: Nitto Graplers, havent decided on size yet, maybe 32" or so?

Odds/ends: New Axle Boot clamps, anything else? Isn't a driveline spacer required too?

With this setup I should be improving the ride quality and offroad performance which is what I demand from a toyota without spending alot of money or loosing stability. any objections?

I have an 01 limited access cab that i lifted. I used the bilstein 2.5 front shocks with double cab springs. I had a diff drop on but took it off because you dont need it. The rear i have pro comp add a leafs. I have 17 inch wheels from an 06 and run 285/70/17 bfg ats. The bigger tires killed the towing capacity. It still acclerates decent till you get some weight in it. For instance my brother has an 04 1500 ram hemi sport and i can out run him in a drag race but he can out pull me. If towing is important to you plan on throwing in some 4.55s. Also the exhaust will be rediculously loud. I had a magnaflow exhaust with JBA headers and took the magnaflow off because it was too loud. I kept the headers though and it sounds near stock under normal driving but has a nice tone when i rev it out.

Rally with out gaining any control arm width you will loose some stabilty. Even with the back spacing. I would recommend Bilsteins over anything on an Ifs Truck. For a road truck I would recommend larger sway bars.

The best way to lift an IFS truck is to use soem sort of drop system Like super lift. This will drop the control arms lower on the truck instead of just putting the control arms at more of an angle. it is best to keep your arms as close to flat as possible for handling and response. I know this is the expensive route but it works best.

Since you will be tweaking the control arms up. you will be putting everything in a strained or loaded position from the arms to stearing linkages. Sont forget the front half shafts will were faster do to angle so the diff drop would be a good idea.

To eliminate the cv boot wear switch to a porsche boot. I dont know the part number but it is a popular mod since the stock boots will tear over time lifted 3 inches. Also be careful with the front end backspacing since its the upper control arm is so huge that it can rub the tires on full lock turning. I get a little bit of it just as the rack hits its limits. I have the 06 double spoked 5 star looking 17 inch factory wheels and dont know the backspacing but i wouldnt go any more than what these have or you are sure to have problems.
