i just put a 40 T sprocket on the rear on my 05 trx450R to get off the line faster good idea or bad or what should i do to get off fast

try going with a 13 tooth front sprocket and keeping the 38 rear. if you need more you can always go with 13./40 but that will probably feel like a tractor 1st will be useless thats for sure.
