OK quad is stock. Now I the clutch is already slipping in the top 3 gears, I can hold the clutch in all the way in 1st and the quad moves, kinda like im letting the clutch out. Ive tried to adjust the cable and still nothing. Does it sound like a need to replace the clutch? if so where can I get a cheap one. Only ones Ive seen are couple hundred bucks.

The tusk clutch is very cheap and has been around and working for some time. About $45 from rockymountainatv.com.

i would say the tusk to, i just replaced mine last week with the tusk kit. like nuckinfuts said, bout $50. and yes it needs replaced, mine did the same thing in the upper gears, all of the dimples on the steel plates were completely gone

Your clutch should always grab and move the bike a bit with the lever engaged
