I have an 07 450r thats stock with the exception of pipe and jetting. Im thinking about hitting up the tulsa shootout in oklahoma in December and and in need of some direction. I have raced mx before, but me or any of my friends have done this. Can someone give some tips on what to do for tires, and or a little suspension tip. Any info would be awesome thanks guys/chics!!!

this is my only quad so setting it up permanently wouldnt be an option. I think it would be fun to do a couple times a year. Especially when its cold and there is nothing else to do. I basically just need the bare necessities

since your looking at doing this for fun and not wanting to spend alot of $$$ I would get a rear lowering link and some rear tires. If you ask for some tires in the wanted section i know that there is a couple of guys on here that have some lightly used tires just sittin around.
