I'm from the Suzuki world and know nothing of Hondas. I've got a buddy who just got an 05 TRX bone stock and has (no computer), and no idea what the stock jet sizes are.

He just got a Trinity full exhaust and he'll be losing the lid as well. We also want to take into account that its gonna be very winter here in Missouri pretty soon @ 1300 ft above..

He wants to go to the Honda stealership to buy a few jets. In what increments should he buy 3 or 4 jets? We don't know what the stock jets are so we have no idea where to start. Is it true that the 05 TRX carbs don't have an adjustable needle? Will it need one? Pilot?

Anything else basic, good to know, please throw it in.

I know its ultra newbie but I never did find it in a search. Its probably toooo basic...... no_bashing1.gif

Thnx

With no lid and aftermarket pipe, you should be around a 180 main. Stock pilot should be ok. The stock needle is adjustable, there is a sticky above to show how to change main and needle.
