Thanks. I really like the new place. I probably spend most my time in the shop. I've got satelite TV, Stereo system, coffee maker, microwave, (still need a frige) I was thinking about a couple couches for the loft upstairs and another TV so I can watch the races with my friends. I'm always out there. It hasnt got old yet. Those pix are a few weeks old. I've made a few changes. I am always trying to improve it.

It was Quikrete brand 1 part epoxy (4 coats) and Quikrete brand 1 part epoxy sealer/polish (3 coats) It was chipping and peeling withing the first week after drying. I prepped the garage floor according to the directions in a year and a half old house at the time. I shouldnt have been cheap and bought the single part epoxy kit. I have 2 friends who have used the same brand 2 part garage floor epoxy with excellent results. One of them visits this site so maybe he'll see this and post up. He did a bad ass job on the floor and from what I've seen it's holding up pretty damn well.

Bummer. That sucks. How did you prep it? One way is to etch it with 50/50 Muratic acid/water. The best way is shot blasting if you have access to the machine. And yeah, the Pre-catalized and one part epoxys arent as good. The Honda wings look good.

Ill post up some pics of mine when I find them. I will share with you my best three ideas I have had for my garage that have worked out well.
1- Pegboard. I hung all my tools on pegboard and they are much more organized than what they would have been in my tool box. Its also cheap organization.
2- I put up a divider wall. I work in the smaller room, and use the other side (70% of it) for storage. This way I can climate control it with a small AC for the summer, and a small heater for the winter, I also keep my tools in that side.
3- Surround sound. Garages dont pick up radio signal very well, so I bought one of those $40 surround sound systems from WalMart, and I hook my MP3 up to it for killer tunes!
My ATV lift is also worth mentioning, it has helped a ton, and was only $800 shipped.

i've got a pretty bada## lift myself....i cut the back of a chair off and squared off the bottum with some 2x4 scrap i had.........working good so far...I'll have to get some pics up of my garage soon. Nothing special but my girl is housed very well with my Honda Fury sitting right next to her.
I cleaned the crap outta my garage floor with the concrete etching and washed it very heavily......i used the quickcrete 2 part epoxy kits you can buy at Lowe's or home depot. I took my time and put it on very heavy. I bought some paint flakes off a website to use....red, black, and white staying true to the Honda colors. I put about 6 coats of clear coat on there and the floor is holding up very nice.

Here are mine:

This actually be a nice two room shop/garage that was built in the 40s when the house was. However a couple years ago, a large snow fall decided to take the roof down. We tore it down and are planning to put a kit one on the pad, but just haven't had the extra $$ to do so.
You can actually just see the fridge to the left. See, I even have a fridge in mine already!
For now, this is where I work on my bikes and the like:

Pretty awesome, I know.

I took your advice on the surround sound and made a trip to Wal-Mart.

Hah, unfortunately, that's my neighbors' wood.
I have some on the side of the house, but not that much. Still have some waiting to be split up.
Yeah, it is effin' cold. We had a dusting the other day. Now it's just below 20. My pipes froze a little last night.

If you not place another barrel on top of this one with the chimney now exiting out the top but on the front of the stove it will nearly double your BTU's. So worth it. You can dang near heat anything. Looks something like this.

Cool man. Thanks for posting. Congrats on the new place. Looks like a lotta possibilities there. I started this thread so I could get new ideas for my shop. I have made quite a few changes in my shop since I started this thread. One of the coolest features in the shop is I have an upstairs loft that is now converted into "The Man Cave" I have a couple Lazy Boy Recliners, Fridge, 37" TV with Surround Sound System, wood burning stove and more being added soon. Me and my buddies sit up there and watch movies, races, Daytona 500, etc. Im not much into video games, but will probably evenually hook up a PS3 or X Box in the Man Cave too. Also plan on adding a couch for naps. Hopefully, I can post some updated pics soon. The one draw back to my new place in the country is I am so far from civilization, I only have dial up for internet. So, posting pictures is really a pain. Im working on getting satelite internet hopefully soon.
