Are the swingarms on the early 450r's the same as the 06+? I have an elka rear shock off on 05 and my leverage ratio isnt working so well with my 07 linkage. So, Im trying to see if I could buy a 04-05 to solve my problem.

The 06+ swingarm rear mount is about a 1/2 rearward. If you have a shock designed for a 05 then you need a swingarm and link to make it work correctly
