well this is a 05 motor and the specs are

+3 hot rods crank
venom piston, i think 14:1
my porting with +1 in/ex, no head milling
web 208
esr intake
43.5mm carb
dyna ign.
dasa pipe

this was one of the j&j heads that never went anywhere, so i told him i would do his head for him(free of course) this is miller450r's motor so i will let him talk more about it.

but here is the results: 64.11 hp and 39.08 tq

miller450r
yeah she is a 471 stroker +3 crank , 94mm bore sportin a venom high comp piston (3 rings!!!) and some other goodies, complete ferrea valvetrain +1 , amr monster coil, 110 "renegade" fuel or soemthing like that and those above mods he wrote , it was nice to be on the rollers again, really found a combo that works good here! Of course it was turning a nasty "old school" rbc 208 that has just about worn out its bearing and had +1 valves, but tomm that cam is coming out and going to get fixed perhaps. Ill try to be on more later in the next few days. BUt it was fun i got to pilot the runs myself and we bounced it off the rev limiter 15 times lol

whew!!!!! didnt tear anything up and finally i think we got the clutch slipping also

thanks so much for the help this morning and for doing this project head!!! unworthy.gif
Also thanks for the guys at R and R for putting up with me this morning, ill be back !!
556KingR

Enjoy it Jeffro.

Miller congrats on a strong bike. Thats going to run like a beast. JJ I hope your mom gets well. Tell her to get on the lung list as soon as possible. It is well worth it to save her live. My mother just had a successful double lung transplant last year and is doing great. It even took away her asthma.

very nice!!!!!
did you try any different intakes?
soyo did you epoxy the ports?

again, very nice
miller450r
thanks guys, and no i didnt try any intakes, just a well hung esr that has been reduced on the inside some, shortened some, and also flow tested against a few other intakes on a flow bench, mainly just to see if it could compete in the overall flow department..

i rode it for 5 minutes sunday but i didnt have my helmet ... and it is pretty mean!!!,but it gets dark before i get off work at 5 and now it must sit till this saturday, and ill change the oil and im going to ride it for real and see what its got.. the dyno already said, a lot!!

Maybe You need to do the ebay trick to this post and put some big engine builders name in the title so it will get some attention! lolol I just cant believe the kind of power this thing put out and the few people that have good stuff to say about this thread, after all the work that was put in on it. I know I am a little biased but wow....
miller450r
i got to ride it this weekend and its the strongest setup i have ever ridden

feel very lucky to have this head, it has more power than i can use, i can run and even milder cam also and still have plenty, plus its not decked and i dont have to worry about the timing

Well its clutch time, my well taken care of EBC clutch kit is now slipping in the midrange so

i just talked to Rob at Dark Synergy, (PSI springs) he has a deal right now

25 per set + 10 shipping

Dark Synergy regular High Temp Springs or
Dark Synergy MOD Hight temp springs

you have to tell him the ones you want and the MOD springs are the best for the highest HP engines, 65+

ive read a lot of threads and short of a lockout these are the best i have heard of when coupled with the stock plates and an extra mod plate setup, short of a hd 250r or cr500 spring setup which some people like.... ima try these MOD DS springs

so miller remind me how this all started.

let me try....
i want to do a head test to showcase a small shops porting (soyo) i will send you my head and you (soyo) can port it for free and i will post dynos before and after. i will pay all shipping to and from (soyo) and pay for all parts.

is that about right? i bet your glad this turned out how it did. talk about getting pushed in a pile and comming out smelling like a rose.

any plans to bump the bore down the road?

nice work soyo

thank you!! i think he was more than happy with the results....and since i did not charge him a dime for the head or my help at the dyno, he definatly got his moneys worth!!
soyo
another thing is....i just want to ride it!! i bet its a arm jerker, from 5500-6500 theres an increase of around 15hp and 7 lbs tq, thats a good midrange hit, lol
