Full Version: getting bolt & nut out of long travel a arms!

hey guys I got a set of LT a-arms used from a guy and I cant seem to fit a socket down into the hole where the bolt that holds the shock on is! any tips pleeeaaaase?!?! thanks - Matt

i had this same problem with my housers,so i bought long reach sockets.then i found the socket i needed was too big a diameter to go into the tube where the nut sits so i got my dad to reduce the socket diameter on his lathe. no problem now..

use a craftsman 12 point socket. deep or std doesnt matter. 6 point sockets dont fit
